EATING OUT
There are many places locally where you can find good food, snacks and refreshments.
The 3 which seem to be recommended most by our visitors are
- The Lazy Trout – our local, village pub with an outside play area. Will and Claire serve really good food, with daily specials. You'll receive a great welcome.
- The Three Horseshoes Inn. This has a bar, carvery, restaurant and brasserie. The latter has several dishes with a Thai influence. Keep up to date with their special offers on www.3shoesinn.co.uk
- The Abbey. This traditional old pub is on the Abbey Green road to Leek. Good food with daily specials. A large play area for children and recommended by larger family groups.
Other pubs are The Rock (at Upperhulme), The Ship (at Wincle) and several in Leek.
We also like to use local restaurants.
- There are many Indian restaurants in Leek
- There is one Thai and one Chinese restaurant as well as several take aways.
